Map and directions to colwell cedars
Colwell Cedars is seven miles northwest of Hotchkiss, Colorado.
Our address is 30048 North Road, on the east end of Redlands Mesa.
We are 55 miles from Grand Junction, with its easy connections by car, Amtrak, and air, with flights from Denver, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Dallas-Ft.Worth, and Houston.
We are 40 miles from Montrose airport, which has flights from Denver, Salt Lake City, Dallas-Ft.Worth, New York, and others seasonally.
From Hotchkiss:
1. Go west 3 miles on Hwy 92, and turn right/north on 3100 Road (the Leroux Creek Forest Access).
2. Go 3 miles on 3100 Road, through orchards and pastures, and turn left/west on North Road.
3. Go 1 mile on North Road, switchbacking up onto Redlands Mesa, and turn left/south at our gravel lane. You will see our Retreat sign, but won’t be able to see the house or other buildings from there.
4. Go 3/8 mile on our gravel lane. At 1/4 mile you pass through our blue gate; stay to the left.
From Delta:
1. Go east 17 miles on Hwy 92, and turn left/north on 3100 Road (the Leroux Creek Forest Access).
2. Go 3 miles on 3100 Road, through orchards and pastures, and turn left/west on North Road.
3. Go 1 mile on North Road, switchbacking up onto Redlands Mesa, and turn left/south at our gravel lane. You will see our Retreat sign, but won’t be able to see the house or other buildings from there.
4. Go 3/8 mile on our gravel lane. At 1/4 mile you pass through our blue gate; stay to the left.
From Cedaredge:
1. From the Cedaredge stoplight (Main and Grand Mesa), go east. East Main turns into Cedar Mesa Road before heading up the hill.
2. Follow Cedar Mesa Road (across flats and through curves) and stay to the right as it curves and turns into Rimrock Road.
3. Follow Rimrock (more curves) up onto Redlands Mesa.
4. Proceed through the stop sign at Redlands Mesa Road, and then turn left onto North Road.
5. Go three miles east on North Road to our number—-30048—-and turn right into our lane.
6. You will see our Retreat sign, but won’t be able to see the house or other buildings from there.
7. Go 3/8 mile on our gravel lane. At 1/4 mile, you pass through our blue gate. Stay to the left.
